Lia Lehrer of Lincolnwood, Ill., graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

At Northwestern, she was a news editor for The Daily Northwestern. She played bass clarinet for the Concert Band, she designed for Schmooze magazine and served in various roles at the Fiedler Hillel Center. She also enjoyed volunteering on Alternative Student Break trips and dancing in Dance Marathon.

Lia likes watching movies, listening to classic rock, taking pictures and being with friends and family.

She uses this blog as an attempt at humor — calling attention to aspects of life that are worth a chuckle. Life is funny, she says. Why not make fun of it?
